Pricing is part of the API, in the same JSON shape on every Meter product.
Assistants read prices with get_pricing and hand you a Stripe Checkout link with create_checkout_link, over MCP, the CLI or REST, with or without an account. Nothing is charged until you pay. The full document is at /api/v1/pricing and in llms.txt.

Yes, on every plan, Free included. When you share a photo in ChatGPT or Claude, your assistant does the analysis and sends Gutlog a draft; storing it, matching it to the food database and scoring it costs us almost nothing, so it is never counted. Barcode scans of products already in the index and every edit are free too.
One photo or text analysis on our own model: a meal photo sent through the app, the CLI, the API or email, a free-text description we parse for you, or a label photo. Plus includes 50 a day, counted per UTC day. On Free, your assistant reads the photo or label in chat and sends us the result, which is free.
No overage: analyses past the 0 a day are refused until the next UTC day or an upgrade. Logging a meal the assistant already analyzed, barcode scans and edits never count. There is never a surprise charge.
Yes. On Free your assistant can read your whole diary, symptoms, exposures and pantry over MCP and work things out in chat itself. Plus is Gutlog doing that work for you, with the app, reminders and a weekly report on top.
No. It compares how you felt after meals with a food or ingredient against meals without it, and says "not enough data yet" until there is enough. The results are hypotheses to test, ideally with a registered dietitian, not medical advice.
No. Free needs no card. Connect your assistant on the setup page and start logging.
It can read the prices (get_pricing, npx @meterapp/gutlog pricing, GET /api/v1/pricing) and give you a Stripe Checkout link (create_checkout_link). Nothing is charged until you pay on Stripe yourself.
Any time, from the billing page or Stripe's billing portal. Yearly is $60 instead of $96. Prices are in USD; taxes may apply.
