Gut and triggers

Track how your gut feels, next to what you ate

Say how you feel (bloating, pain, Bristol type, or just "fine") and Gutlog keeps it next to your meals. Over time it shows which foods look safe for you and which do not, with how many meals each estimate rests on. Hypotheses to test, never a diagnosis.

My gut feels 9 out of 10 today, no bloating, Bristol type 4. Log it.

I have been bloated all afternoon. Log it, then look at the last three days for anything that stands out.

What was I exposed to this week: FODMAPs, dairy, caffeine, fat?

Compare the days my gut felt best with the days it did not. What was different about what I ate?

Which foods look safe for me and which do not, from my own log? Show how many meals each one rests on.Plus

I have had softer stools lately. Compare my recent fiber, dairy and fermented foods without assuming any single one is the cause.

Prompts marked Plus need the Plus plan; on Free your assistant gets the upgrade link instead of an answer.

How it works

What your assistant does, and what Gutlog does

  1. 1

    You log how you feel

In your own words, 2 to 4 hours after a meal or in the evening. Each log becomes severities per symptom and a tummy score for the day.

  2. 2

    Meals become exposures

Every logged meal carries what it exposed you to: FODMAP subgroups, gluten, dairy, caffeine, fat load, histamine and more, from its confirmed and likely ingredients.

  3. 3

    Patterns, with their evidence

For each exposure: the extra symptom severity in its time window after eating, how likely that is a real effect, and how many meals it rests on. Fewer than five says not enough data.

Under the hood

The tools your assistant calls

You never say their names. Each one is also a REST call, a CLI command and an SDK method.
